Titanium-manganese을 기반으로 한 합금인 AB2는 혹 투성이 형태로 전기 에너지를 공급하는 연료전지에 결합된 열 관리 부품들이 있는 수소 저장용 특수 고압 컨테이너에 사용됩니다. 이 합금은 내 부식성이 뛰어나고 장 기간 사용할 수 있으며 실온에서의 가역(可逆) 저장 능력(무게 대비 1.8%)이 뛰어나고 특히 실온과 저온에서 빠르게 수소를 흡수하고 방출합니다.
